Hi! I’m Leif Weigel and I specialize in research-driven strategies to support nuerodiverse and exceptional learners. I love all things music, art, ecology, and the feeling I get when hiking through the forest.

• BA in Music Therapy, minor in Psychology from Berklee College of Music

• Certified Neurologic Music Therapist (NMT)

• Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC)

• 6+ Years in Education & IEP based Music Therapy (in person & virtual)

• Published contributing author in the Queer & Trans Music Therapy Handbook through Oxford University Press

• Emerging Writers of Children’s Literature Residency, Banff Centre of Creative Arts in Alberta, CA

My Mission

No matter the challenge, learning can (and should) work in harmony with each learners needs. I started Music With Leif to empower learners in amplifying their potential academically, socially, developmentally, expressively, and for their holistic wellbeing. My goal is to implement effective, evidence-based treatment to help them succeed in multiple facets of their life. Fostering an inclusive therapeutic learning environment is the heart of my practice.
